New Canvas Account & Placement

When you sign up for the online program, your account will be created in Canvas, our Learning Management System and you will also be added to a placement course (MSA, Classical or Amiyya) where you will complete a quiz so we can put you in the appropriate level. Here is what you should expect:

You will receive 2 emails:

1. Your canvas account creation registration email that will look like the image below. (Click on the link to create your account) This will only happen if you don't have an account with https://canvas.qasid.com from before
   

   

2. A course invitation to the placement course that will look like the image below. You will need to make sure you have an account before clicking on the invitation link and then select "I have an account" and log in.
