How do I reset my password in Canvas?

If you have been sent a generic password for your account (either when creating a new account or when resetting your password from the log in page), we highly recommend that you reset your password using the steps below before continuing.

1. Go to Account > Settings

2. Click Edit Settings

3. Click the checkbox "Change Password"

4. Type the Old Password once and the New Password twice and click Update Settings.
