How do I reset my password in Canvas?

If you have been sent a generic password for your account (either when creating a new account or when resetting your password from the log in page), we highly recommend that you reset your password using the steps below before continuing.

1. Go to Account Settings

2. Click Edit Settings

3. Click the checkbox Change Password

4. Type in the old Password once and the new Password twice and click Update Settings.
